Veg Fried
rice
Fried rice
is Chinese dish. In this steamed rice stir fry in wok with egg, meat, veggies
and usually flavored with soya sauce and salt and garnished with chopped
parsley / coriander / spring onion. There are many varieties of fried rice. In
Asia famous varieties includes Yangzhou and Fujian fried rice. Most restaurants
offers vegetarian fried rice or Muslim have invested their own varieties of
fried rice as egg fried rice and Indonesian spicy fried rice. Mostly leftover
rice is used because the moisture of fresh rice will cause it to steam instead
of fry. .So Today I prepared the veg
fried rice that is stir fry in the pan with vegetable oil, chopped veggies and add onion and garlic for
extra flavor and garnish with spring onion.
Ingredient:
2 ½ cup boiled
rice
2 tbsp
fine chopped carrot
2 tbsp
fine chopped cabbage
2 tbsp
fine chopped French beans
2 tbsp
fine chopped capsicum (red,green,yellow)
1 fine
chopped onion
1 tsp fine
chopped ginger-garlic
3 tbsp
fine chopped spring onion
1 tsp soya
sauce
1 tsp
chilli sauce
1tbsp
vinegar
1
pinch black Pepper powder
Salt to
taste
2 tbsp oil
Method:
1.Heat the
oil in the pan, Add onion and sauté for 3-4 mins.
2.Add
garlic-ginger and sauté for 1 min.
3.Add
carrot and French beans and sauté for 2 mins.
4.Add
chopped capsicum and cook for another 1 min.
5.Add
Cabbage, salt and black pepper and mix well.
6.Now add
soya sauce, chilli sauce and vinegar and mix it.
7.Add rice
and toss it.
8.At last Add
Spring onion and turn off the flam.
Serve hot
