Eggless Jeera biscuits
Ingredient:
1 ¾ cup maida/ all purpose flour
½ cup butter
½ cup powder sugar
1 tsp salt
1 ½ cumin seeds/jeera
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
1/8 cup milk.
Method:
1.In a bowl ,Add butter and powder
sugar and beat them
2. In a another bowl, Add maida,
baking powder,baking soda, salt and 1 tsp cumin seeds and mix it well.
3.Add flour mixture into butter
mixture and mix it.
4.Add milk and make nice dough.
5.Sprinkle some flour on a board.
6.Roll the dough in Square shape
7.Sprinkle cumin seeds and again
lightly roll it.
8.Cut it with cookies cutter.
9.Preheat the oven at 160C.
10.Place this cookies in the baking
tray .
11. Bake for 15-20 mins at 160C.
12 Remove and cool on wire rack.
Enjoy biscuits with tea / coffee.

ReplyDeleteHi..i tried making these biscuits with same measurements..In about 15 min after baking.,when I checke di found cookies to be too soft and a lil unbaked..so I kept them for another 5 min for baking..post which they were hard...although they had risen from the original shape...

Deletehi garima, usually when i bake any cookies they soft in texture when it hot .when it comes on room temperture it bacome crunchy and hard . Always remember, bake the cookies until light brown color........you can send me your cookies's photo . i will update that photo on my blog..my id- prachi.26july@gmail.com
