Eggless Nan khatai
Nan khatai is Indian eggless buttery cookies made with some flour (semolina, gram flour and all purpose flour) and butter
Ingredient:
125gm maida
60gm semolina
60gm besan
1 tsp baking powder
200gm powder sugar
200gm ghee/ butter
1 tsp cardamom
½ sliced almond
Method:
1.In a bowl, add ghee and sugar.
Beat until cream and smooth
2.In another bowl mix maida,
semolina, besan and baking powder.
3.Add dry ingredient into wet
mixture and mix well.
4.Add cardamom make a dough.
5. Preheat oven at 200 C.
6. Make small balls and flat them
and place sliced almond
7. Place them on baking tray and
bake for 12-14 minutes at 180C.
8. Remove and allow to cool.
9.Serve along with tea or coffee.
