Beetroot Halwa
Halwa is sweet dish that most
popular in India. Halwa is prepared by different materials such as semolina halwa(suji),Chana dal
Halwa(Gram dal),aate ka halwa(wheat),Gajar ka halwa(carrot),Dodhi halwa(Bottle
gourd),moong dal halwa.
I prepared beetroot halwa that is
very healthy.It is
full of vitamins and mineral .Beetroot
is good source of iron. It is a very tasy sweet.Beetroot
halwa is made with grated beetroot, milk, sugar and cardamom .
Ingredient:
200gm Grated Beetroot
2 tbsp ghee
250ml milk
125gm sugar
125gm Khoya(mava)
¼ roasted nuts
1 tsp cardamom powder
Method:
1.Heat a pan , add grated beetroot
and milk and cook for 8-9mins till milk almost evaporated.
2.Add sugar and mix well .
3.Now sugar is dissolve and the
mixture is liquely.
4.Cook for 6-8mins.
5.Add khoya and mix for 10 mins when
the mixture leaves kadhai.
6.Now add ghee and mix for 3 mins
7.Add
cardamom powder and nuts in halwa. Turn off the flam
Serve hot…..
Grated beetroot.
Add grated beetroot and milk in the pan.
Milk absorbed.
Add sugar.
Add khoya.
Add cardamom powder.
