Saffron Lassi / Kesar Lassi

















Lassi is very popular and refreshing drink. This is traditional drink of punjab and north east India. This drink is made sweet by blending yogurt or buttermilk ,sugar and ice or made salty by adding salt , mint leave and roasted cumin powder. Today's recipe is drink that is made by yogurt with elegant flavor of saffron.




Ingredient:
2 cup curd/ yogurt
¼ cup milk
½ tsp kesar / saffron
1 cup crushed ice
2 tbsp sugar/honey




Method:
1.In a small bowl , add milk and saffron and keep aside for 10 mins.
2.Add curd and sugar blending pot and grind it.
3.Now add saffron milk and crushed ice and again blend it.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Note:
You can more sugar and ice as you desire.
