Carrot-Capsicum Pulao
Ingredient:
1 bowl cooked rice (I cooked 1 cup
soaked rice)
1 cup grated carrot
1 chopped capsicum
2 chopped onion
2 bay leaf
4-5 clove
3 cardamom
½ tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp red chilly powder
¼ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh chopped coriander / cilantro
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Method:
1.Heat the oil in the pan.
2.Add bay leaf, clove and cardamom and
stir .
3.Add chopped onion and saute for 5-6
mins.
4.Add cumin seeds and red Chilly powder
and mix it well.
5.Add Chopped capsicum and sauté for 2
mins.
6.Add grated carrot and sauté for 2
mins.
7.Add salt ,garam masala and lemon
juice and mix it well.
8.Now add cooked rice and mix well.
9.Add some fresh coriander and mix
well.
Serve hot with grapes raita or as you
like.
Note:
You can add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste .
