Chana-Achari Pulao
Ingredient:
1 cup Boiled chickpea / Chana
1 bowl cooked rice (I used 1 cup of raw
rice to make 1 bowl cooked rice)
1 big onion (chopped)
1
big tomato (chopped)
1 tsp punch poran (mixture of fenugreek
seed,nigella seed,cumin seeds ,black mustard seeds and fennel seed in equal parts)
½ tsp
red chilly powder
2 tbsp mango pickle (aam ka achar )
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp fresh chopped coriander
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Method:
1.Heat the oil in the pan.
2.
Add chopped onion and sauté for 5 mins.
3.Add panch poran and red chilly powder
and mix it well.
4.Add chopped tomato and cook for 3-4
mins.
5.Add boiled chana and mix well
6.Sightly mashed the mango pickle and
add it and mix well.
7.Add salt and garam masala and mix
well
8.Now add cooked rice and stir .
9.Add chopped fresh coriander and mix
it.
Serve it …………….
