Eggless Mave Cake
Ingredient:
2 cup all purpose flour/maida
½ cup butter
1 cup powder sugar
1 cup powder sugar
¾ cup mava/khaya
¼ cup corn flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¾ cup low fat curd/ yogurt /dahi
1 cup milk
¾ tsp cardamom powder
¼ cup cashew
Method:
1.Place paper in the baking pan than grease butter/oil on all
sides of 8” round baking pan.
2.In a bowl,Sieve maida, corn flour, cardamom powder baking
powder and baking soda.
3.In a bowl, Add sugar and butter
and beat them until creamy and fluffy .it takes about mins If you beat with
electric beater .
4.Add curd and beat for 1 min.
5.Add khoya and beat for 2 mins.
6.Add some flour mixture and milk and mix it slowly.do same with all flour
mixture .
7.Pour the batter in greased Pan and
place some cashew on the top.
8.Preheat the oven at 180C.
9.Place the baking pan in the oven
and bake for 45-50mins or until the tooth pick comes out clean.
Make cake on Gas /without oven:
1.Heat the deep bottom pan /
pressure cooker on medium heat.
2.Do not
fill water in pan/ cooker.
3.Place a lid/ separater( that comes
with the cooker) on the pan.
4.Cover the pan with a plate (this
process called preheating).and heat for 5 mins.
5.Place the baking box in the pan and cover the pan /cooker with
plate /
cooker’s lid(Remove the whistle.
6.Bake the cake for 45-50 mins unitl
the tooth pick comes out clean.
