Tri-Color Dhokla | Independence Day Special
Ingredient:
2 cup semolina
1 cup curd
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp eno ,fruit salt
Mint chutney
Onion Tomato chutney
For temper
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tsp green chilly
2 tbsp curry leaves
2 tsp grated coconut
Method:
1.In a bowl, Add curd ,semolina and sugar .
2.Add some water and mix it and make a nice
batter. Keep aside for 14 mins.
3.Heat the water in dhokla cooker for steam.
4.Grease the dhokla stand with oil.
5.Divide the idli batter in 3 equal parts.
6.Mix 2 tsp mint chutney in first cup for
making green batter
7.Mix 2 tsp onion tomato chutney in second
bowl for make orange color batter .
8.Now, add equal eno salt in all bowl and mix it well.
9.Fill first plate of dhokla stand with white
batter. ,Second with mint batter and third with tomato batter.
10.Place the stand cooker and stream for 15
mins .
11.Turn off the flame and cool down the stand
.
12.Now ,Remove the dhokla from stand.
13.Heat the oil in small pan .
14.When oil became hot,Add green chilly ,curry
leave and mustard seeds . and cook for 1 min.
15.Turn off the flame and add coconut and mix
it well.
16.Now Spread the temper over all the dhokla.
17.Arrange the dhokla piece as show in the
photo.
Cut into small piece and serve…………..with chutney….
