Jeera Rice/ Cumin rice



 Jeere Rice














Ingredient:
1 cup rice/ basmati rice
1 ½ tsp jeera/ cumin seeds
1 bay leaf
4-5 clove
1 inch cinnamon stick
½ tsp red chilli powder
1 ¾ cup water
1 tbsp ghee
Mint leave for garnish

Method:
1.Wash and soak the rice for 20-25 mins
2.heat the ghee in a pan.
3.When ghee became hot,add bay leaf and clove .
4.Now add jeera and red chilli powder and mix it
5.Add water and boil it.
6.When water became boil,add soaked rice and mix it.
7.Cover the pan with lid and cook for 3-4 mins on low flame .
8.Check it ,when all water absorbed, turn off the flame and again cover the pan with lid and serve after 10 mins.
Enjoy jeera rice with cucumber-grapes raita
