¾ cup besan/ gram flour

¼ cup suji/ semolina

¾ cup water

¼ tsp haldi/turmeric

½ tsp red chilli powder

1 pouch/ 1 tsp eno fruit salt.

2 tsp lemon juice

1 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

For temper

1 ½ glass water

1 tsp mustard seeds

2 green chilli

5 tbsp sugar

3 tbsp lemon juice

1.In a bowl, add besan,sooji,sugar,haldi ,salt and water . mix well.

2.keep aside for ½ hour.

3.After ½ hour , prepare the steamer by boiling the water .(I 

steamed them in deep bottom pan by placing separator on the 

bottom of the pan and fill the water to the separator level and cover 

the pan with lid/plate as show in the photo.) 

4.Grease a circle /Square box with oil.

5.When the water became very hot .

6.Add the lemon juice and eno salt in the batter and mix it quickly.

7.Pour the batter in box and place on the steamer.

8.Steam for 20 mins on high flam .

9.Remove and cool down on wire rack.

for temper:

1.Heat the oil in the pan .

2.When oil became hot, add chilly and mustard seeds and mix it.

3.Add water and sugar and mix it .

4.Boil the water for 5-7 mins than turn off the flame .

5.Add lemon juice and mix it well.

6.Cut the dhokla  into square shape .

7.Pour water mixture over dhokla pieces .it absorbed most of the water.

8.Sprinkle fresh coriander and serve it

                                                                                                     pour on box

                                                                                                              place on steamer

                                                                                                                   check it

                                                                                                             cool down

                                                                                                             Add oil,chilly and mustard seeds

                                                                                                             Add water and sugar

                                                                                                   pour over the dhokla
