Eggless cinnamon rolls

Eggless Cinnamon Rolls






2 cup maida
1 ½  tbsp  butter
2 tbsp powder sugar
½ cup water (luke warm)
1 tsp dry yeast

 For spread;
1 ½ butter
1 ½ tbsp. cinnamon powder
¼ brown sugar

 For Glaze
¼ powder sugar
¼ vanilla essence
½ tbsp. butter
2 tbsp milk

      Method ;

 1. Mixed yeast, sugar and warm water and keep it aside for 5 minutes to proof.
 2. Mix maida and 1 ½ tbsp. butter .
 3. Add proofed yeast to dry ingredient and mix well to form a soft dough.
 4. Knead for 10 minutes.
 5. Oil a bowl and place the dough into it.
 6. Cover the bowl with wrap or cloth and set it aside for 1 hour or until double.
 7. Dough size will double after 1 hour.
 8. Knead it and spread it with a roller in rectangular shape.
 9. Spread butter evenly and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon powder.
10.Roll it and cut it into 1 inch thick swirls.
11.Place on a baking tray or pan and allow to rise for 30 minutes.
12.Preheat oven to 180 C.
13.Coat the top of the roll with milk.
14.Bake it for 15-20 minutes.
15.Meanwhile whisk butter, sugar, milk and vanilla essence till it reach a thick flow able consistency.
16.Allow to cool.
17.Drizzle glaze over the rolls and let it sit
18.Serve warm with tea or coffee.

                                Proofed yeast

                            mix yeast in maida

                      make a dough and set aside for 1 hour

                                Doubled dough

                      Knead again and roll and spread butter

                       Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar

                                   Roll it

                                   cut it into 1 inch

                     Place on baking pan or tray and set aside for 30 mins

                       After 30 mins roll doubled in size.
                       coat the roll with milk abd bake.

                        Remove from oven and allow to cool.
