½ cup peanut
1 onion chopped
1 green chilli
1-2 dry red chilli
2-3 tamrind paste
Salt to taste
To temper:
½ tsp mustard
½ tsp split urad dal ( dhuli urad dal)
Few curry leaves
2 tsp oil
4. Now add peanut, chilli, onion, tamrind paste , salt and 2
tbsp water and grind to a fine paste.
5. Transfer the chutney to a serving bowl.
6. Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan for temper.
7. Once oil hot , Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and urad
dal .
8. pour over chutney and mix well.
Note:
Another variation is you can add ½ cup
fresh coconut in place of onion.
